Today, we released the latest issue of the Domain Name Industry Brief, which shows that the third quarter of 2020 closed with 370.7 million domain name registrations across all top-level domains (TLDs), an increase of 0.6 million domain name registrations, or 0.2 percent, compared to the second quarter of 2020.1,2 Domain name registrations have grown by 10.8 million, or 3.0 percent, year over year.1,2

Today, we released the latest issue of the Domain Name Industry Brief, which shows that the second quarter of 2020 closed with 370.1 million domain name registrations across all top-level domains (TLDs), an increase of 3.3 million domain name registrations, or 0.9 percent, compared to the first quarter of 2020.1,2 Domain name registrations have grown by 15.3 million, or 4.3 percent, year over year.1,2

Combatting Illegal Online Opioid Sales in the COVID-19 Era

U.S. News & World Report’s June 23 article, “The Hidden Deaths of COVID-19”, details how the current novel coronavirus pandemic could cause a spike in opioid overdoses, by denying those most at risk access to support meetings or urgent medical care. Verisign Q1 2020 Domain Name Industry Brief: Internet Grows To 366.8 Million Domain Name Registrations In The First Quarter of 2020

Today, we released the latest issue of the Domain Name Industry Brief, which shows that the first quarter of 2020 closed with 366.8 million domain name registrations across all top-level domains (TLDs), an increase of 4.5 million domain name registrations, or 1.2 percent, compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.1,2 Domain name registrations have grown by 14.9 million, or 4.2 percent, year over year.1,2

Two-Month Extension of Wholesale Restore Fee Waiver – UPDATED

This blog was initially published on May 28, 2020. In our July 23, 2020 earnings release the company stated that the wholesale restore fee waiver for expired domains would be extended through the end of 2020. Further information can be found here.

Verisign Will Waive Wholesale Restore Fee to Help Registrants Keep Their Domain Names During COVID-19 Crisis

How We’re Responding to the COVID-19 Crisis – UPDATED
